We used to sell a heavier weight also, but the inventor decided he would not sell to us if we sold this lower priced product too.
This still being America, I decided that no one tells me what to do so if you really need the heavier product badly email me at janycegranoff@hotmail.com and I will tell you how to search for it. But only ask if you really really really need it because I am really really really angry at this guy! He is suing me for damages! Like I damaged his company. It was his decision to sell to the company I buy from and allow them to use his product name and now he must have seller's regret because he is taking his frustrations out on me.
I have explained, as gently as I could, to him and his fancy lawyer, that I don't understand his position. I buy a product sold by a big international company They sell his product named Kwik-Covers on their business to business site and I buy it and sell it on my sites. I told his attorney that if he has a problem in my using the name he should contact the company I buy it from.....what am I soposed to do..... lie to my customers and not tell them the names of the products? I don't and won't do that. I cant even understand his wanting me to stop selling his product or refusing to sell it to my customers.?!?!?
It's true that for some time I didn't even realize that the company I buy it from sells 2 versions, one called Stay Put and one named Kwik Covers. The minute the owner of Kwik-Covers brought it to my attention I made it very clear on this very site that they were 2 different version of the same design but that Kwik-Covers was far superior (and it is), however that was not good enough. He ordered me to create a new section of my site so as not to confuse the customers...but I ask you....don't you think that food service operators can read, that they can understand when I say " Kwik-Covers is superior and a heavier weight"? NO, he says and is asking for my books and records and a bag of money.
